JILL classes are taught by specialists in their fields, many of them professors retired from the University of Virginia. Classes are typically small and lively with interesting lectures and/or discussions.

Tailored to seniors' life styles, classes are held in the daytime, always in buildings with convenient parking and handicapped access. We've found that short schedules (usually 3 or 6 weeks) fit well into the typical senior's life style. Classes meet once a week for two hours.
